How an HVAC Job Works With Shred Designs
- Site visit or fault report. We visit the site, measure the space or inspect the fault, and note the power supply, access and any constraints.
- Written quote. You receive an itemised quote that says what is included, so two quotes can be compared fairly.
- Installation or repair. Our technicians carry out the work to the manufacturer’s specification and the agreed scope.
- Testing and commissioning. We run the system and record temperatures, pressures and running current before calling the job complete.
- Handover and follow-up. You get a walk-through, the warranty details and, where it suits, a maintenance schedule.
Why We Measure Before We Quote
Most HVAC problems we are called to fix trace back to a decision made before the equipment arrived: a unit too small for the room, a pipe run that is too long, a cold room built with no power backup plan. We survey first, size from the actual heat load, and give a written quote. Every system is commissioned with recorded readings before we hand it over.
